Port St. Joe, Florida

Known as House “F”, the Windmark Beach residence was designed as a prototype for the Windmak Beach residential community. The home architecture is developed in the “cracker-sheik” style, a style that combines the conveniences of modern living with the aesthetics of traditional rural Florida. The home presents a traditional single story face with wrap-around porch to the front of the lot while a two-story volume partially encloses an interior court yard with pool and guest house. Open-air corridors connect conditioned bedrooms and living spaces with a transparent “dog-trot” connecting the interior courtyard to the home entry. The home was designed by Brian C. Weber as a model home for the 4240 design team.
